Hosting & server logs
We host this website with Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, on servers located in the EU (Germany). A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with Hetzner. When you access the site, server log files are processed automatically (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type, referrer). This is technically necessary to deliver the site securely and reliably. Logs are deleted after 7 days at the latest. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation).

Strictly necessary cookies (e.g. to store your cookie choice) are set on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Analytics cookies and comparable technologies are only used after you have given consent via our cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Analytics: Google Analytics
With your consent we use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google processes usage data such as a shortened IP address, page views, interactions, approximate location and device/browser information. In Google Analytics 4 the IP address is not stored permanently. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; such transfers are covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework under the European Commission’s adequacy decision of 10 July 2023. Analytics: Umami
With your consent we also use Umami, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tool that we self-host on our own server (Hetzner, Germany). It measures aggregate traffic without setting cookies, without permanently storing personal identifiers and without cross-site tracking. No data is transferred to third parties or to a third country. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Affiliate links
This website contains affiliate links. When you click such a link, the destination retailer (e.g. Amazon, AliExpress) may set its own cookies to attribute the referral. This processing is carried out by the respective retailer under its own privacy policy, not by us.
Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) (Art. 21 GDPR). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with future effect. To exercise your rights, an email to info@zedfy.com is sufficient.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit), Alt-Moabit 59-61, 10555 Berlin. You may also contact the authority in your place of residence.
Automated decision-making
No automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.
